Health Care Reform: What Hospitality & Lodging Businesses Need to Know

If you’re like most business owners and operators, you have questions (and concerns) about how the 2,000-page Health Care Reform Bill is going to impact your daily operations and your costs.  Attorneys from the law offices of Davis Wright Tremaine brought information and answers to owners, operators and HR staff of lodging and allied establishments in a webinar for WLA members in mid-July.

You and your staff can view the webinar at your convenience.  Just email or call WLA at 877-906-1001 and we'll provide you with the link.  Access is free to WLA members, another benefit of lodging and allied membership -- and another good reason to join if you're not now a member

The webinar summarizes the most important provisions of health care reform that affect the lodging industry.  Discussion topics include who must be covered under a plan, the small business tax credit, new tax reporting and employee disclosure requirements, new coverage requirements, new patient protections and cafeteria plan changes.  Many new requirements are effective later this year and others will take effect over the next several years; as such, the program addresses changes that affect you and your business now and in the near future. Attorneys Jeff Belfiglio, Liz Deckman and Monica Gianni of Davis Wright Tremaine are featured on the webinar.

WLA is proud to partner with allied member, Davis Wright Tremaine in making this valuable and important information available to our industry.
